Packaging for the confectionary industry has a dual purpose: to protect the product and enhance its aesthetics. For this reason, in addition to the traditional coloured aluminium reels in a wide range of colours, Carcano can supply aluminium foils printed in up to 8 colours, based on graphic designs set up by a team of expert designers.
This system, based on the HACCP model, was implemented by integrating it with the existing Quality Management System certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Carcano’s Mandello plant, as manufacturer of packaging for the food, confectionery, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, has obtained an extension of the ISO 9001:2000 certification applied to an internal sanitary self-control system. Such a system, developed in order to prevent and monitor all possible risks of product contamination, is based on the HACCP method and it has been implemented integrating it with the existing quality management system.
